The SMART Taxi was born from the unwavering determination of Mr. Dhruvam Thaker, who left behind a secure corporate job in 2016 to pursue a dream that refused to fade. With nothing more than one laptop, a small mobile phone, a dining table, and a chair, he began building what he believed could redefine the travelling experience in India.
The journey was far from easy. When multiple banks refused him a loan to buy a taxi, he chose not to give up. Instead, he broke into his personal savings, purchased a single car, converted his license into a commercial one, and started driving customers himself. Every ride, every passenger, and every challenge became a stepping stone toward something larger.
From those humble beginnings, The SMART Taxi has grown into one of India’s most trusted and customer-focused travel service providers. Today, we proudly operate across 42 cities, with a fleet of 1,000+ well-maintained cars, and have successfully served 15,000+ happy travelers along with 40+ leading corporate organizations. Today, we are the first choice not only for Indian customers but also for foreign tourists and business travelers who rely on our trusted services throughout their visit to India.
